Absolute Announcement: We are Growing

Secondly, we are growing here at Absolute, all thanks to your support. It is very much appreciated. Thank you!

We had no expectations when we started this substack in April of 2022. Our intent was simply to write about our experience and the blindspots we have seen in the management of athletes for high performance, both from a treatment and training perspective. To be honest, we had no idea if writing about these blindspots and how we logically address them in our own practices would be of interest to anyone other than us.

Over the last 4 months specifically, we have had thousands of people read each one of the articles we have written. The rapidly growing article viewership and subscribership, on top of the great questions and discussion topics that we receive in our inbox, has enabled us to know that we need to spend more time interacting with you, the subscriber, and spend more time and resources into making Absolute all that it can be.

To do so, we have decided to offer a paid subscription option to Absolute for those that choose it. With your feedback in mind, the paid subscription will come with member-only benefits.

We are offering a limited number of Founding Member subscriptions that come with special benefits. We will have live scheduled monthly zoom meetings where Founding members will have full access to us and the topics we are currently working on, as well as, also explain more details on Point A, Point B, and how to create the training roadmap. In addition, the opportunity to discuss various topics relevant to our practices and how we can improve them will be a main focus, including case discussions and research reviews. These meetings will be recorded and archived for those who cannot attend the meetings.

We also have a working document that, once done, will be a manual on the art and science of programming training to enhance human performance. Founding members will have full access to that working document so that it becomes a live document for all of us. This affords us the opportunity to learn from you as it allows us to have your feedback regarding athlete management according to Absolute. This allows you as the member to contribute your experiences, anecdotes, and practical application to what hopefully will become a preeminent document on programming for high performance.

We will also offer a paid subscription to Absolute, where there will be content that is only accessible to you. This may include content-specific articles, videos, and other resources.

In addition, we will have a members-only chat group where we can all converse on different topics.

We hope to add even more value to subscribers as we move into the new year.
