Training the Neural Network of Absolute Strength—means: programming propagating work that stimulates the scaling of the network.

The Neural Network of Absolute Strength Unleashes Programming Possibilities

When the neural network of absolute strength is directed toward training—not practice—you can scale it. Scaling happens by eliciting maximal neurological effort against maximal load. That’s the (training) work that propagates the network to expand.

If the goal is speed-strength, the load is reduced to submaximal and the effort becomes dynamic with the intent to output at the highest attainable speed. But without a fully developed network, the athlete lacks the prerequisite for true speed-strength—you get a Carl Lewis output not Ben Johnson.
